AUCKLAND UNIVERSITY SURGICAL SOCIETY

AUSS aims to give medical students at the University of Auckland an insight into surgery as a career. By holding information evenings, suturing workshops, conferences, and days in theatre with consultants around Auckland, AUSS promotes surgery as a career, and also gives students an insight into what it takes to become a surgeon, and what it's like once you're there. Anyone is welcome to join, even if you don't study medicine but are interested in getting into medical school!
